    Quite coffee shop type place. But food is really good. Specializing in soup, sandwiches, and breakfast food. Everything is homemade.

    Wonderful, cheerful, friendly atmosphere and terrific food. The cinnamon rolls are incredible! We were just on Cape Breton Island on vacation, and we frequently went to Shining Waters for breakfast. They made us feel part of the family.

    Food is very low priced, but nothing fancy. Poutine is just hashbrowns, chicken gravey and mozzarella
